Getting organised in the garden
13/01/2010
A can of Plasti-kote Chalkboard paint can be a handy addition to the garden shed, whether you are growing your own on an allotment or a window sill.
By recycling plastic soup pots, spraying them with Chalkboard paint and labelling them with your favourite herbs, you can either transplant shop bought herbs or your own grown from seeds. The paint works equally well on terracotta pots and you can mask off the rims for a particularly stylish finish.
By spraying the side of wooden seed trays, you can easily identify which seeds are growing where and when you pot them on - ideal for successional planting.
Plasti-kote Chalkboard spray paint is available from all good DIY and hardware stores at RRP of £5.9 9 for a 400ml can. For more information, visit www.plasti-kote.com or call 01223 836400 for stockists.
